Brief introduction to Prof. Deng Yongheng:
Professor Deng Yongheng gained his doctor degree of economics in the United States University of California at Berkeley and postdoctoral degree of real estate and finance in University of Pennsylvania, Walton College of business. Now, he is the chief professor of National University of Singapore, professor of Business School of National University and Department of Real Estate of Institute of Architectural design and Environmental Sciences. He was once the real estate financial expert of the United States federal government and member of Land Committee of Singapore Economic Strategy Committee. At the present, he is the chairman of Real Estate Council of the World Economic Forum, the vice chairman of Real Estate and Capital Economic Association of the World Economic Forum, the vice president of America real estate and City Economic Association, and special adviser of Asia-Pacific agency of Bank for International Settlements. His research mainly focuses on policy studies related to real estate finance and city economy, including Chinese housing market risk and price analysis, securitization of housing mortgage loan and its derivative products, asset pricing, financial structure and securities design, research on credit risk, econometric analysis, policy analysis of strengthening low income families’ and high risk groups’ mortgage loan, green building, ecological environment, and management and research on financial market of real estate.
